The VOH (Voice of Healthcare) in association with ISA (Indian Stroke Association) recognized First Neuro, Brain & Spine Super Speciality Hospital for its outstanding contributions to stroke care, particularly in the areas of rapid response, advanced treatments and patient-focused care and presented The Best Emerging Stroke Unit award. This acknowledgement reaffirms the hospital's dedication to providing high-quality stroke care services to the community. Dr.Mohammed Shameem K. A., Consultant Neurologist, received the award at the event, which took place on October 27, 2023, at the Taj Skyline in Ahmedabad.

The event was inaugurated on 18 th October, 2021 by Mr. Vedavyasa Kamath, MLA Mangalore West. At First Neuro Hospital, Mangalore. The Guest of Honors was Mr. Sudheer Shetty Kannur, Corporate Kodialbail Ward, Mangalore, and Mrs.Chandravathi Vishwanath, Corporator Kannur Ward, Mangalore. In presence of Dr. Rajesh Shetty, Mrs. Roshni Shetty, Mr. Ramchandra Shetty, all Doctors of First Neuro Hospital, C.O.O., Medical & Non-Medical Staff.

The Campaign set an excellent response in both the states Karnataka and Kerala. We created awareness among the general public, police officers, firefighters, KSRTC Staffs, Auto-Owners & Drivers, Taxi Owners & Drivers.

It was 25 days campaign set in First Neuro Hospital’s branded Mobile Van. The campaign took place in the state of Karnataka and Kerala.

In Karnataka it lasted for 19 days, covering 6 districts and 19 different towns. Totally 1473 people screened for BP & GRBS.

Whereas, in Kerala, it lasted for 6 days covering 12 towns of 2 districts. A total of 725 people screened for BP & GRBS.
